Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Architect to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural principles and will be responsible for designing residential and commercial projects from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and draft innovative architectural solutions for clients.
• Ensure sustainability practices are integrated into design proposals.
• Assess and integrate client requirements into architectural plans.
• Supervise project execution to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Regularly communicate project progress with clients and stakeholders.
• Evaluate site conditions and propose viable design modifications.
• Implement best practices in project management for timely delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive architectural presentations for client meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• 3D Rendering Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Architect (SA)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in graphic design software: Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
• Membership in professional architectural associations: Active engagement in industry networks and bodies.
