Job Description

We are hiring a nurse for our Durban facility to provide top-notch care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient progress, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and coordinate care activities.
• Document patient progress and report changes to medical staff.
• Prepare and administer treatments as per physician’s instructions.
• Participate in case conferences and staff meetings.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with policy guidelines.
• Conduct health education sessions for patients and families.
• Support and mentor junior nursing staff.
• Perform routine procedures such as blood draws and catheterizations.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a diploma or degree in nursing

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with chronic disease management: Familiarity with care plans and treatments for chronic illnesses.
