Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. You will provide comprehensive assessments and therapeutic services to patients, aiming to achieve their rehabilitation goals and enhance their functional capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' functional capabilities and limitations.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Advocate for clients to access resources and support.
• Engage in training and education workshops for staff and community.
• Perform administrative duties related to client care and service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist

Technical Skills

• Pediatric Therapy
• Geriatric Therapy

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Chronic Care Management Certification
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Conversational

• Knowledge of Mental Health Interventions: Understanding of therapeutic techniques relevant to mental health.
