Job Description

As a Hydroelectric Production Manager, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of a hydroelectric power plant. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, leading a team of technical staff, and optimising the plant's performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction and installation of the hydroelectric power plant.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among teams.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
• Manage relationships with governmental and regulatory agencies.
• Schedule and conduct safety drills and training.
• Implement continuous improvement plans based on audit findings.
• Promote a safe working environment and culture.
• Review and approve maintenance reports and documents.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Project Management certification (PMP) is a plus

• 10+ years of experience in the power generation industry
