Interior Designer

Job Description

We are in search of a talented Interior Designer to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing designs for various projects, from residential to commercial spaces. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, conceptualize design ideas, and oversee the implementation of your designs.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss project goals and needs.
• Draft and present design proposals using 3D modeling software.
• Oversee and manage contractors and vendors during project execution.
• Choose color schemes, materials, and furnishings to fit client styles.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout the project.
• Ensure designs align with budgetary constraints.
• Conduct consultations to gather feedback and make adjustments.
• Provide support in sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.

Advantageous
