Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Durban office, focusing on environmental assessments, compliance, and sustainability solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African environmental legislation and a passion for driving positive environmental changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and compliance audits.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Research environmental regulations and offer guidance.
• Compile and analyze environmental data for reporting purposes.
• Develop educational materials to promote environmental awareness.
• Work closely with project managers to integrate sustainability into project plans.
• Provide training to clients on environmental compliance issues.
• Engage with local communities to understand environmental concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental assessments and consultancy
