Seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for monitoring network security, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with security policies. A proactive mindset and technical skills are a must!

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to cybersecurity threats in a timely manner.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop an incident response plan to mitigate potential threats.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall security posture.
• Assist in compliance with global cybersecurity standards.
• Participate in building a culture of security within the organization.
• Research new cybersecurity threats and recommend solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in threat analysis

Technical Skills

• Malware Analysis
• Endpoint Security

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Presentation Skills

Certifications

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices: Experience managing security in cloud environments.
• Experience with threat hunting techniques: Ability to proactively search for and mitigate security threats.
