Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our dedicated team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance to individuals and families facing challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and working closely with community organizations to ensure the well-being of clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' situations and develop effective service plans.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate with health professionals and community agencies.
• Represent clients in meetings and advocacy groups.
• Educate communities about social justice and support services.
• Conduct workshops on life skills and empowerment.
• Prepare case reports and documentation for funding agencies.
• Support clients in navigating legal or social services.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and ethical standards.
• Participate in community events to raise awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community services
