We are looking for a dedicated Pest Control Worker to join our team. You will be responsible for applying pesticides to residential and commercial properties, ensuring effective pest management and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Apply pesticides and other pest control solutions safely and effectively.
• Conduct thorough inspections of commercial and residential properties.
• Assess client's pest problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Document treatment plans and log service details accurately.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with management to fulfil service orders promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Engage with clients to improve service satisfaction.
• Monitor pest activity and report on ongoing issues to management.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Diploma or Certificate in Pest Management is preferable

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of field experience in pest control

Technical Skills

• Chemical handling safety
• Pest identification

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Applicator License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership skills: Ability to lead small teams during larger pest control projects.
• Knowledge of local pest regulations: Understanding of South African pest control laws and guidelines.
