We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our skilled team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques to provide effective technical support. Your role will involve a range of responsibilities, from resolving hardware and software issues to assisting users with IT-related queries.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support tickets and provide timely resolutions to user issues.
• Collaborate with IT team members to implement new systems and upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain computer networks, ensuring system security and performance.
• Educate users on best practices for IT security and compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in IT Support or related field
• Relevant certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in IT support roles

• Linux OS
• Remote Access Tools

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
