We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our skilled team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques to provide effective technical support. Your role will involve a range of responsibilities, from resolving hardware and software issues to assisting users with IT-related queries.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and develop relevant solutions to meet requirements.
• Maintain logs of all services provided and equipment repaired.
• Provide training to end-users on new applications and software.
• Conduct regular system checks to ensure optimal IT functionality.
• Assist in testing new IT systems and procedures before full implementation.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in IT Support or related field
• Relevant certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in IT support roles

• Linux OS
• Remote Access Tools

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• English: Fluent
