We are currently seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will focus on developing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges. You will work collaboratively on various projects aimed at minimizing ecological impact and promoting sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be passionate about environmental conservation.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and sustainability analyses.
• Coordinate with government entities for environmental compliance.
• Provide expert advice on environmental laws and regulations.
• Manage project budgets related to environmental initiatives.
• Evaluate and optimize resource consumption in projects.
• Prepare grant applications for environmental funding initiatives.
• Deliver presentations on sustainability to various stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering roles

• Environmental Impact Assessment

• LEED Accredited Professional
