Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditor to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of auditing principles and will be responsible for conducting audits across various sectors. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and maintaining trust with our clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial practices and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Draft comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to resolve identified issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the audit process.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure implementation of recommendations.
• Participate in training and development initiatives for junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Auditing or Finance is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of auditing experience

Technical Skills

• Auditing Software Proficiency
• Regulatory Compliance Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certificate in Risk Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project Management Certification: Experience managing audit projects and leading teams.
• Knowledge of international auditing standards: Familiarity with ISA and other global auditing frameworks.
