Counter Molder

Job Description

The Counter Molder will be responsible for shaping and molding various materials to produce counters for kitchen and bathroom surfaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Create molds for production of molded products
• Identify and troubleshoot problems with molds
• Maintain molds and equipment regularly
• Collaborate with the production team for timely product delivery
• Ensure molds are of the required quality standards
• Monitor material usage and report any discrepancies
• Assist in training new team members
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe workplace

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Completion of vocational or technical training in molding or a related field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in molding or a related field

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Ability to operate CNC machines

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Physical stamina

Advantageous

• Familiarity with different molding materials: Experience with various materials such as wood, plastic, and metal.
• Knowledge of safety protocols: Understanding of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
