Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse (CCU RN) to provide specialized care to critically ill patients in our ICU. The CCU RN will ensure the safety of patients, monitor vital signs, and administer necessary treatments and medications.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously assess patients' conditions and make necessary adjustments to their care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
  • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care.
  • Engage in emergency preparedness and response training to enhance team readiness.
  • Document patient-related information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Encourage and demonstrate empathy and understanding to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards.
  • Support new staff and nursing students through mentorship and guidance.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
  • Additional certification in Critical Care or ICU nursing preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or ICU nursing.
