Senior Tax Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Advisor who will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax advice and strategies to our clients in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of South African tax legislation and be able to effectively communicate complex information to clients.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of current tax legislation and amendments.
• Develop relationships with key clients to foster trust and loyalty.
• Prepare tax forecasts and projections with accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients to tailor tax strategies to their unique situations.
• Document tax strategies and ensure proper implementation.
• Facilitate training sessions for junior tax staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development and networking.
• Assist clients in dispute resolution with the tax authorities.
• Evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions from a tax perspective.
• Provide support during international tax structuring.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Taxation or related field
• Postgraduate diplomas in Taxation are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory roles
