Job Description

Join AccountSolutions Ltd. as an Accountant in Pretoria, where you will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail, as well as experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Review and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions.
• Support financial planning and analysis activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures.
• Engage in training sessions for new accounting software.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss financial strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Honours degree in Accounting is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance

• SAGE

• ACCA

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Financial Modelling: Ability to prepare financial models for forecasting.
