Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong understanding of design principles, capable of transforming client ideas into stunning interiors.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from initial concept to final installation.
• Use CAD software to produce detailed drawings and specifications.
• Assist clients in making informed decisions on materials and finishes.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all designs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Interior Architecture or Design from an accredited institution

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in interior design for commercial and residential projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• BIM Software

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Negotiation skills

Certifications

• LEED Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in additional design software: Experience with tools such as 3ds Max or Lumion.
