Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in the classroom. The ideal candidate will help create an engaging learning environment for students, assist with lesson planning, and provide academic support.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) where required.
• Collect and track student assessment data.
• Engage with students to encourage participation and motivation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Honours degree in Education is an advantage

Experience

• Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual abilities: Fluency in an additional South African language is beneficial.
