Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architect to contribute to exciting residential projects in Cape Town. You will play a key role in designing and overseeing the execution of innovative home designs that enhance the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize design software to create 3D models and renderings.
• Establish project schedules in coordination with project managers.
• Evaluate and suggest innovative materials for improved aesthetic appeal and functionality.
• Actively participate in community engagement initiatives related to residential developments.
• Document all project phases and maintain meticulous design files.
• Ensure designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Provide expert advice on construction methods and building materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Postgraduate studies in Sustainable Architecture is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in residential architecture and project management.

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• 3D Rendering Software

• Leadership

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local building codes: Understanding of compliance regulations for Cape Town.
