Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in automotive engineering, providing both mechanical and electrical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle performance issues.
• Perform routine maintenance checks (oil changes, brake services).
• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Provide customers with detailed estimates and repair options.
• Adhere to quality control standards set by the company.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and client relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Automotive Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years in automotive repair and diagnostics

Technical Skills

• Hybrid Vehicle Systems
• Air Conditioning Systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Automotive Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Electric Vehicle Maintenance: Preferred certification for servicing electric vehicles.
