Job Description

As an Interior Designer at Creative Spaces Ltd., you will be responsible for designing and executing creative interior solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through innovative design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design residential and commercial interior spaces.
• Work closely with architects and builders to create cohesive designs.
• Present ideas and concepts to stakeholders, making adjustments based on feedback.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
• Select decor and materials that align with project budgets.
• Evaluate and recommend design solutions based on functionality and aesthetics.
• Manage procurement of materials and furnishings.
• Ensure timely completion of all projects, while maintaining high standards.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the design process.
• Continuously seek professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Certification from a recognized interior design school is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in interior design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification
• LEED Accreditation is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
