Job Description

As a Health Informatics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of patient care by supporting nursing staff in using healthcare information systems effectively. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between clinical practice and health technology, ensuring the smooth implementation of electronic medical records and other information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead training sessions for nursing staff on electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of new health technologies for clinical use.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of health information systems.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by clinical staff.
  • Support compliance with healthcare regulations related to informatics.
  • Drive efforts toward successful adoption of healthcare technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for informatics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Post-graduate degree in Health Informatics is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in nursing coupled with informatics training.
