We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our dedicated team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing environmental impact, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing solutions for sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and mitigate environmental risks associated with projects.
• Lead environmental management projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct field assessments and collect environmental data.
• Analyze complex data and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to integrate environmental considerations.
• Implement environmental control measures and recommendations.
• Advocate for sustainable practices within the organization.
• Communicate findings and recommend strategies to stakeholders.
• Participate in community engagement and education on environmental issues.
• Provide training and support to project teams on environmental compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering or consultancy
