Job Description

As an Aerospace Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing aircraft and spacecraft systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost models and benchmarks for aerospace projects.
• Analyze and resolve engineering challenges using cutting-edge methods and tools.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine processes and improve product quality.
• Document and track project progress and outcomes.
• Provide recommendations for design changes and material selections.
• Assess the performance of existing systems and suggest enhancements.
• Engage in continuous learning to improve engineering practices and methodologies.
• Lead investigations into design or manufacturing problems that arise.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years industry experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering

Technical Skills

• Computer-aided design (CAD)
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Team Player

Certifications

• Certified Value Engineer (SAVE International)
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing: Experience in Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Experience in supplier relationship management: Proficient in managing supplier relationships for efficient procurement.
