Job Responsibilities

Lead engineering projects from conception to execution within the agriculture sector.
Analyze data related to farm production and equipment performance.
Consult with external stakeholders to enhance agricultural practices.
Initiate and manage sustainability assessments for projects.
Develop educational materials and training sessions for farm operators.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field
Master's degree preferred
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Proficient in CAD software for designing agricultural systems.
Project Management Experienced in managing engineering projects and coordinating teams.
Soil and Water Management Knowledgeable in soil sciences and water resource management.
Irrigation Systems Design Experience in designing efficient irrigation systems.
Analytical Thinking Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex agricultural systems.
Communication Skills Effective communicator with clients and team members.
Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
Certified Agricultural Consultant (CAC)
English (Fluent)
Afrikaans (Conversational)

Advantageous

Knowledge of Drone Technology in Agriculture: Experience in using drone technology for crop monitoring and management.
