Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer at Tech Solutions Group in Polokwane, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive productivity. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that our operations meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create workflow documentation and diagrams for processes.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste.
• Facilitate cross-functional team discussions for problem-solving.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support new product development initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for better efficiency.
• Assist in budget preparation for process improvements.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in process improvement roles

Technical Skills

• Statistical Process Control

Certifications

• Certified Process Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of 5S methodology: Experience implementing 5S for workplace organization and efficiency.
