Job Description

As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee our IT operations in Stellenbosch, ensuring the stability and security of our IT systems. You will lead teams, manage projects, and drive the implementation of new technologies. The ideal candidate is proficient in IT infrastructure management, with a solid track record in enhancing IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage IT infrastructure budgets and resources.
  • Develop strategic plans to ensure the scalability of IT systems.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Enhance security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align IT services with business needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all IT systems.
  • Establish metrics for evaluating IT performance and progress.
  • Advocate for technology investment aligned with business objectives.
  • Engage in stakeholder communications regarding IT status and issues.
  • Supervise network and server performance to ensure optimal operation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification is a bonus
