Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a VAT Tender. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing VAT tenders for our clients and ensuring compliance with the South African tax regulations. This role is integral in helping our clients navigate the complexities of VAT processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze all VAT-related transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Develop and implement VAT policies and procedures.
• Advise clients on the VAT implications of their business decisions.
• Participate in audits and assist in resolving issues with auditors.
• Lead projects focused on improving VAT compliance and reporting.
• Prepare reports on the performance of VAT submissions and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure holistic financial management.
• Support clients in audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development related to tax legislation.
• Network with peers and attend industry events to enhance knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in VAT or tax-related roles.
