Veterinarian

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our veterinary team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to animal welfare, alongside excellent clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess animal health and provide urgent care as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for pets.
• Conduct preventive care services for pets, including vaccinations.
• Team up with veterinary technicians to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in educating the public about responsible pet ownership.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the practice.
• Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in interpreting laboratory test results.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in veterinary services

Certifications
