Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, with a strong focus on preventative care and customer communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat animals with a variety of health concerns.
  • Develop treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Guide pet owners in preventative care and proper pet nutrition.
  • Conduct surgeries, as well as dental care when needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and clinic operations.
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Ensure that all facilities and equipment meet safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM or equivalent
  • Postgraduate training is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years in veterinary medicine focusing on both small and large animals.
