Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care, assess health needs, and provide diagnosis and treatment in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary and preventive care services to diverse patient populations.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to document patient care activities.
• Advocate for patients in navigating the healthcare system.
• Provide health education on topics including nutrition, exercise, and chronic disease management.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress.
• Participate in community health initiatives to promote wellness.
• Mentor and train junior nursing staff as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing
• Current RN licensure in South Africa

Experience

• At least 3 years of clinical experience including previous Nurse Practitioner roles

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Nurse Practitioner Certification Board (NPCB) Certification

Languages
