Responsibilities

• Lead environmental surveys and data collection.
• Provide expert advice on environmental issues to management.
• Collaborate with government and non-profit organizations on initiatives.
• Identify funding opportunities to support environmental projects.
• Review and contribute to environmental policy and regulation assessments.
• Engage in public outreach to build relationships and raise awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Natural Resources
• Master's degree in a similar field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive environmental science experience

• Project Management

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate
• Certified Ecologist (CE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Fluency in additional languages: Proficiency in additional South African languages is an asset.
