Electrical Site Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. You will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing project timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead site meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.
• Ensure all installations are completed according to technical specifications.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs to monitor adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with electrical designers for installation effectiveness.
• Prepare progress reports for management review.
• Act as the main point of contact for electrical contractors.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and payments.
• Implement quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and tenders.
• Foster a positive working relationship with all site team members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Professional registration is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in electrical site management
