Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to join our Cape Town team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and conducting audits. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis to monitor financial performance.
• Ensure timely billing and collection of receivables.
• Analyze financial data using accounting software.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
• Support internal controls and risk management initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Honours degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Technical Skills

• Taxation Knowledge
• Excel Proficiency

Certifications

• Tax Practitioner
• ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

Languages

• English: Fluent
