Job Description

As a Hoist and Winch Operator, you'll be pivotal in the operation of hoisting systems used in various mining and construction applications. Your role is essential in ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and efficiently, while meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hoist and winch machines during construction and mining operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
• Complete daily production and safety reports as required.
• Actively participate in team meetings and training opportunities.
• Assist with the coordination of materials movement on site.
• Work collaboratively with different teams to optimize processes.
• Maintain personal and site safety gear in good condition.
• Engage in problem-solving discussions to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Valid operator certification for hoist equipment

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant operating role within the industry.
