Job Description

As a Chemist at Innovation Chemical Labs, you will be responsible for conducting detailed scientific research and performing chemical analysis to develop new products and improve existing formulations. You will collaborate with a team of scientists to push the boundaries of innovation in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate potential improvements in chemical formulations.
• Report findings to senior management and recommend further action.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in chemical research.
• Evaluate and implement new laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Support quality assurance efforts by conducting routine checks on chemical processes.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field
• Master's degree in Chemistry (preferred)

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

• Chemical Engineering Principles

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
