Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician with a specialization in Neonatology. This role involves providing specialized medical care for newborns, especially those who are critically ill or premature, within our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our youngest patients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the treatment plans of neonates during their hospital stay.
  • Engage in family-centered care by providing support to parents during their child's treatment.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
  • Conduct rounds to assess the progress of neonate patients.
  • Advise on the transition of care from hospital to home for at-risk newborns.
  • Participate in the training and mentorship of medical staff.
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical governance.
  • Engage in research focused on neonatal care advancements.
  • Facilitate the discharge planning process for infants.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine
  • Completion of a recognized pediatric residency program
  • Fellowship in Neonatology preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in neonatology required.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced neonatal life support (ANLS)
