We are searching for a Cake Mixer to take charge of preparing cake batter, icing, and frosting. The successful candidate will ensure quality and consistency in all baked products by meticulously following recipes and practicing proper baking techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of cake mixtures, ensuring quality control.
• Utilize modern baking tools and techniques to innovate recipes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Guide the production team in managing workloads effectively.
• Experiment with new baking styles and product offerings.
• Support the Head Baker in planning production schedules.
• Track ingredient usage to minimize waste and maintain stock levels.
• Encourage a positive working environment among team members.
• Take initiative in troubleshooting baking issues.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Culinary Degree specializing in Pastry or Bakery

Experience

• At least 3 years of practical experience in baking, focusing on cakes and pastries.
