Job Description

As a Hoist and Winch Operator, you will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials on construction sites. Your role requires physical fitness and adherence to safety protocols while operating the pole lift.

Responsibilities

• Operate hoisting equipment efficiently and safely to handle materials.
• Help maintain safety and order at construction sites.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
• Document daily activities and report any issues and incidents to management.
• Train new team members on safety protocols and equipment handling.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in the construction industry with experience using hoisting equipment.
