Dryer Operator

Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Dryer Operator to manage and maintain our state-of-the-art drying equipment. As part of our dedicated production team, you'll ensure that products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role is critical in achieving our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments when necessary.
• Perform preventive maintenance on drying machines.
• Ensure that production targets are met daily.
• Participate in safety meetings and training.
• Maintain accurate logs of production and maintenance activities.
• Assist other departments with operational duties as needed.
• Support quality control processes and inspections.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Manage the workflow of materials through the drying process.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of finished products.
• Continuously seek to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate
• Technical qualification in Manufacturing or Equipment Operation is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with drying equipment

Languages

• English: Fluent
