Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping and accounting tasks ensuring accuracy.
• Process and manage payroll transactions.
• Verify and reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Act as a liaison between departments for financial queries.
• Participate in special projects related to accounting improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Recognition as a Professional Accountant is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., Sage)
• Tax Compliance Knowledge

• Analytical Skills
• Team Player

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with compliance regulations: Knowledge of financial compliance laws and regulations in South Africa.
