Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to manage our healthcare operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and enhancing the patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk operations and patient interactions.
  • Ensure efficient communication between healthcare providers and patients.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics for administrative functions.
  • Participate in quality assurance and patient care improvement initiatives.
  • Support the IT team in managing healthcare management software.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new administrative staff members.
  • Monitor supply inventories and order necessary supplies timely.
  • Handle patient grievances and provide effective resolutions.
  • Support strategic planning activities and project management.
  • Engage in continuous professional development in healthcare administration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Health Administration is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment is required
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare database management systems

Certifications
  • Certified Healthcare Manager (CHM)
  • HIPAA Certification
Languages
