Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to manage our healthcare operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and enhancing the patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative operations of the healthcare facility.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure prompt follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Oversee billing and insurance claims processes to maximize revenue.
  • Provide support in the recruitment and training of administrative staff.
  • Implement and manage healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients to enhance their experience.
  • Assist with budget management and financial reporting.
  • Ensure the facility complies with all local and national healthcare regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of patient files and administrative records.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Health Administration is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment is required
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare database management systems
