Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, counselling patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines. You will play a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Advise patients on the use of medications and potential interactions.
  • Engage in health promotion activities to educate the community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
  • Conduct medication therapy management services.
  • Stay updated on new medications and treatment guidelines.
  • Manage pharmacy operational procedures and systems.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff and interns as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy (optional)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
