We're seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will focus on designing and implementing projects that enhance environmental health, ensuring compliance with local regulations while promoting sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve the ecological performance of projects.
• Prepare environmental impact statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor compliance with environmental laws and policies.
• Manage waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects in the planning stages.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental standards.
• Engage with community organizations and stakeholders regarding environmental issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
