Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer who is ready to take on exciting challenges in the construction of sustainable infrastructure. Based in Johannesburg, you will be working on a variety of projects, from roads to bridges, ensuring high standards of engineering practices are met.

Responsibilities

• Draft engineering plans using CAD software for site layouts, site preparation, and installation.
• Estimate project costs and provide timely updates on expenditures to facilitate effective resource allocation.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and technical guidelines from clients.
• Stay current with industry trends and policies to ensure compliance and innovation.
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies prior to project implementation.
• Serve as a liaison between the company, government officials, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) qualification required

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in civil engineering projects.
