Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

Join our team as a Cybersecurity Consultant in Port Elizabeth. You will analyze our systems for vulnerabilities, develop security enhancements, and work with clients to help them navigate their cybersecurity risks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure.
• Develop and implement security standards and best practices across the organization.
• Provide guidance on security policies and procedures to enhance the cybersecurity posture.
• Monitor security trends and emerging threats to develop proactive responses.
• Collaborate with IT teams to secure network configurations and reduce the risk of breaches.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
• Engage with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
