Job Description

We are seeking a Kiln Burner to operate and maintain the kiln system in our manufacturing facility. As a Kiln Burner, you will be critical in ensuring optimal performance and meeting production targets while prioritizing safety and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kiln operates safely and efficiently.
• Regularly check and calibrate the kiln parameters for optimal performance.
• Log all operational data accurately for quality assurance and reporting.
• Work with the maintenance team on scheduled and unscheduled kiln repairs.
• Train junior staff on kiln operation and safety protocols.
• Engage in root cause analysis for any performance issues encountered.
• Support the implementation of safety improvements and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Technical qualification in Kiln Operation

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in kiln operation in a manufacturing environment

Languages

• English: Fluent
