Job Description

We are seeking a driven Investment Banker in Cape Town who can enhance our client service and advisory capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client portfolios, executing transactions, and providing strategic financial advice.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the complexities of investment banking services.
• Evaluate and assess risks associated with financial transactions.
• Facilitate client meetings and ensure effective communication.
• Champion client interests during negotiations and transaction processes.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the investment banking service offering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance

• Financial Analysis

Soft Skills

• Relationship Management

Certifications

• Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in equity and debt financing: Proven track record in raising capital through various financing methods.
