Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Tax Associate to join our Durban office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax legislation, preparing tax returns, and providing valuable insights to clients. This role requires a firm understanding of tax policies and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct research on tax-related issues to provide informed advice.
• Assist clients in understanding tax compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor tax law changes and advise clients on implications.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax inquiries.
• Prepare supporting documentation for tax audits.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and optimization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in taxation or accounting

• Tax Technician qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
