Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Construction Manager to lead and oversee our construction projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project updates.
• Review and approve project designs and plans.
• Maintain documentation for all project-related activities.
• Establish and implement construction best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in construction management or civil engineering

• Scheduling

Certifications

• LEED AP Certification
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
